We are looking for a Closing Room Machinist to assist in all aspects of and fitting and stitching shoe uppers using a sewing machine, including under edging, sides, caps, etc. You will work as part of a team on an individual basis to obtain the daily or weekly targets ensuring quality is at the highest standard and to ensure that departmental machinery & equipment is in good working order.
We are looking for a number of Footwear Production Operatives to aid the production of orthopaedic and retail footwear. The role will include a variety of skills, from builder, fabricator, machinist, craftsmen and quality assurance all rolled into one. You work with machinery on the factory floor and with IT equipment to make sure they are set up properly, working well, and producing high-quality products in a safe environment. As a Footwear Production Operative you will make sure your equipment is working at full capacity, are stocked with the necessary materials and are well maintained.
