Kickstarter’s at Bennie

Date: Category: Group

The Bennie Group is proud to be taking part in the Kickstart Scheme, providing work placements for young people who are out of work because of the ongoing impact of Covid-19. We will be helping to Kickstart young peoples’ careers by providing them with a work placement where they can gain valuable experience that will assist them in long-term employment. These Kickstart participants will also have support with CVs, interview preparation, and long-term work searching so that they can hit the ground running off of their work placement.

The Bennie Group realizes the importance of the Kickstart scheme not only to the participants, but also to the wider community. Part of Bennie’s ethos as a family-run business is to nurture and develop our people to reach their full potential, regardless of their position. Emma Ayres, Chairman of The Bennie Group believes that investing in the next generation is key to our continued success, as our young employees are the ones who will become the pillars and leaders of our companies.

This month we are thrilled to welcome our first member from the Kickstart Scheme – Aaron, a Junior Marketing Administrator.

Aaron comments, “I was drawn to The Bennie Group for their team-oriented approach to business; everyone being an equal cog in their wheel of operation, regardless of their position within the Group. This is a new challenge for me and I’m looking forward to learning more about the diverse nature of the Group.”

We hope to bring on more young people like Aaron through the Kickstart scheme, helping them get back into work so that the next generation of the UK’s workforce continues to thrive and move forward.
