This week we both support and celebrate Family Business Week (Monday 22nd – Friday 26th November), an acknowledgement of the amazing work that family run businesses do across the UK to generate work, stimulate the economy, and support local communities.
Family Business Week has been organised by the Institute for Family Business (IFB). Founded in 2001 the IFB are now the largest UK family business organisation, working with family businesses across the UK to overcome common challenges.
As a family run business, we understand the challenges first-hand that the 5 million family run businesses in the UK face. We are incredibly proud of our combined success and perseverance, especially with our impact on the UK workforce as we collectively provide 14 million jobs across the country.
It is for this reason that we want to celebrate our employees this week, that continue to build on our own 80+ year heritage as a family business.
