Working Hours:

Job Role/Description

Bennie Equipment’s West Division is recruiting for an experienced, passionate, and well organised Parts Administrator to assist the Service Controller as part of a team, in sourcing and managing required parts for Bennie in material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have worked previously in a similar role with proven organisational skills in a fast-paced environment, to support the Service and Sales teams in meeting customer expectations and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • To assist the Service team in the efficient and effective co-ordination of the parts department, including portraying a professional image to both our customers and external stakeholders.
  • Deal with enquiries and telephone calls as required including receiving, recording incoming customer service calls & parts orders.
  • To process all parts orders as requested by the back-office Team & Service Team.
  • Provide support for Service/Sales department in supplying prices & availability guaranteeing a prompt turnaround for estimate preparation.
  • Load all parts movements, parts purchases onto Protean (operating system)
  • Raising third party purchase order numbers, booking in parts & allocating to jobs.
  • Ensure all GRN’s are checked off against parts deliveries.
  • Assisting all service parts requirements.
  • Responsible for location stock, min/max stocking levels, fulfil stock-take’s when required, keep track of common fast-moving parts allocating to Engineers van stocks where required, enabling the service department to improve on first time fix and meet company KPI’s.
  • Pack & unpack, distribute parts to customers or Engineers, alternatively stock parts in locations throughout the parts department, invent new locations when required for parts received.
  • Collecting and distributing parts to the field team where required.
  • To despatch parts to customers & engineers and return appropriate parts to suppliers when required.

  • Previous experience of operational software and system driven processes
  • Previous skill and knowledge as a parts assistant in a previous role would be of an advantage.

  • A full and valid UK driving license
