We are pleased to announce that Bennie has made it into Northamptonshire Limited’s 2019 financial report, for the seventh year running, as a Top 100 privately owned business.
Northamptonshire Limited is prepared by Grant Thornton UK, financial and business advisors that are part of the Grant Thornton Global network. The survey analyses the financial performance of the county’s privately-owned companies with revenues ranging from £13m to over £600m. This provides a benchmark that assess economic performance in Northamptonshire.
We’re humbled to be included again in the Top 100 this year. The top performing companies in Northamptonshire, comprising of 23 large companies and 77 SME’s, provide a benchmark for the county’s performance, with a reported 6% increase in turnover amounting to £5.65bn across 2018/19.
It’s also important to highlight an increase in CSR activity across Northants companies, as we collectively work towards a more sustainable future, with operations considering environmental, social and economic impacts. With the Group being predominantly focused in the construction sector, its great to see that our industry is leading the way with 83% CSR engagement over the past financial year.
It is great to see other local businesses, both suppliers and customers recognised alongside Bennie.
